1.What is BPlace?


BPlace is a range of online ERP software services, also known as SaaS, developed and provided by Networkz for all Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) users.


2.What does BPlace stands for?


BPlace stands for Business Place. It refers to the platform that everyone needs to on, to do business.


3.What is ERP software?


Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is the planning of how business resources (materials, employees, customers etc.) are acquired and moved from one state to another. It is a process of making a business more efficient and cost-effective. An ERP software system is cross-functional and enterprise wide. It helps a business to systemize tasks for all staff and keep the business data in a centralized server. All functional departments that are involved in operations or production are integrated in one system.


4.What is an online software service or SaaS?


Software as a service (also known as ‘SaaS’) is a model of software deployment where an application is hosted as a service provided to customers across the internet. By eliminating the need to install and run the application on the customer's own computer, SaaS alleviates the customer's burden of software maintenance, ongoing operation, and support.


5.How does BPlace work?


Once you subscribe our services, we will setup up our BPlace ERP software on our designated partner, a 3rd party Webhost server for your company use. And your company staff can access the software from anywhere on the internet, via PCs, PDAs or Mobile Phones.


6.Why do we need to use an ERP system?


Every business needs an ERP system in place to reduce duplicates, to keep data centralized, and to trace workflows. But a full ERP system customised for your business needs may not be cost-efficient for a Small and Medium Enterprise (SME). Hence, for the earlier stage of a business, or for smaller scale businesses, it is more efficient to use SaaS ERP. Namely, BPlace ERP.

9.Can I add on other features onto my plan?


The software will be a software application with standard features for all normal SMEs. Once the package is selected, users can submit Suggest-A-Feature for items they want to request for.

Items that are developed based on user suggestions may be added-on as part of same package, or as a package upgrade.

Certain features that are requested, will require customization services. If so, BPlace then cannot offer it as it does not apply to all customers in BPlace. Hence, for customization services, please contact our BPlace Customer Service Team via our online feedback form here.


10.Who developed and owns BPlace software?
